Alright, let's get the elephant in the room out of the way: Bobby's death. It wasn't a complete surprise. After all, he'd already lost the fingers on his clutch hand, as well as an eye. August Marks does a bang-up job on strategy – see what I did there? – breaking Bobby's jaw so he can't warn the club that the cold killer had hidden his murder weapon on the victim himself. Then again, cutting the head and arms off of the Pastor and sewing them onto another body so that his torso could still be found on Pope Construction property was also pretty badass on Jax's part. Clearly, this is a walk in the park for the two ringleaders.

Meanwhile, Gemma's issues with female authority figures continues. When Gemma gives Jarry a statement on the Chinese member who "killed" Tara, the conversation escalates and finally boils into a serious cat fight. Can anyone say bitch slap? Dang, ladies!

With Jax and Gemma so caught up in their losses, they fail to notice Abel's wavering innocence. After overhearing two murder confessions from Gemma, it's only a matter of time before the young prince acts out or worse (for Gemma), spills the beans. The episode wraps up with the bow-chica-ow we've all been waiting for when Jarry demands Chibs to have sex with her on the hood of her patrol car. No complaints here. 

Jax Teller

Please stop blaming other crews for your messy murder cleanups, Jax! Clearly his actions haven't panned out thus far and it's only getting worse for Jacky boy. I mean, the rest of Redwood has even threatened to overthrow him for goodness' sakes. That's what happens when you kill an original member because of a hissy fit.

Though it was extremely tragic, perhaps Bobby's death will serve as the wake-up call Jax has desperately needed. With all enemies and some friends against him, he's gotta be shaking a little in his shiny Tim boots by now.

Abel Teller

CThis may seem insensitive but, you dumb boy! Perhaps it’s Kurt Sutter’s writing choices or even the actor's performance but, whatever it is, Abel comes across as a real dud. Yes, he’s seen plenty of tragedy and violence in his short five years…but if Sutter could at least give him more to say instead of repeating the same lines over and over and – well – I digress.

Let's be real, if he’s lucky he’ll end up like this:

Alright I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he'll grow up to be a brilliant serial killer. Big things in this boy's future! Jk, jk. 

Abel Teller will embark on a journey of mediocrity that will most certainly result in a strangely though unsurprisingly similar fate to that of his father. That's right folks, this is Shakespeare reincarnated. 

Whatever happens to Abel in his future, he's in for it that's for sure. Good luck young man, good luck.

Wayne Unser

AOh Unser, you sly fox. Gemma is paranoid enough and Unser knows just how to send her over the edge. I must say, I'm very excited to see how this all unravels. 

Bobby Muson

A++It’s been so hard to watch Bobby's scenes these days. Every episode, he’s losing another body part and just when we get hopeful that he'll live, August Marks takes him out point blank.

Bobby's character deserved more attention in the end. He remained strong and loyal, even in the face of serious torture, but there’s something dissatisfying about the way he died. Almost anti-climactic. His circumstances became worse and worse until finally it was all over.

Nevertheless, Bobby consistently had been the backbone of SAMCRO and it was sad to see him go. Ok, I'm going to go weep now. DON'T MIND ME. 

Gemma Teller

“If you ever slap me again, I’ll shoot you in the throat”– Gemma

I’ve got to hand it to Gemma this time around; she is one hard-ass who knows how to lay down the law, even when it comes to police officers. We haven’t seen this side of Gemma in a while, maybe as far back as the Clay days (Yikes! Didn’t need reminding of him).

Can anyone say cat fight?!

Interestingly, Gemma seems to have finally met her strong-female match. Tara tried and was somewhat successful, but Sheriff Jarry carries a certain maturity that allows her to handle Gemma LIKE A BOSS.

No complaints here.

Extra Credit

• Tig and Chibs getting tough Batman-and-Robin style makes me giddy, weak in the knees even. Where can I fan myself?
• Just when you think we’re all “toughed” out, Happy steps in for a potential beat down.
• This is the third appearance from Juice’s rear if I’m not mistaken. Sutter is just taking advantage of Rossi’s contract at this point LBH.
• Bitch slap! Cat fight! Oh what a glorious day for powerful women!!
• When Tig and Happy are together, Tig is the normal one. And that’s saying something.

Demerits

• Whoa homeboy, do not talk to a woman like that. Let her do what she wants and be the charming hooker she is! At least Gemma told him off.
• August Marks is the devil! Can’t believe he killed Bobby in cold blood, after all the torture they put him through.
