Peter: "You won't regret this. And I won't regret this, because I won't remember it."

Mr. Wedding in the house, y'all. Despite a semblance of personal growth since her relationship with Josh, Mindy is not above attending his wedding with the goal of showing him what he's missing. Classic, Mindy. Meanwhile, Danny's little brother Richie is visiting from Florida with news. All I wanted from this episode was a dance montage to the song "Shout" and a Miami Vice reference. One out of two ain't bad.
Mindy & Peter
B+ & B-
Mindy on her VIP patient: "I wish I could tell you who it is, but Jay-Z would be furious. It's Beyoncé."

Despite giving herself a completely respectable and fictional out, Mindy decides to attend Josh's wedding. I feel like the lesson here (previously partially learned in the pilot episode) is to not go to your somewhat recent ex-boyfriend, also ex-junkie's wedding. Mindy makes a habit of inserting herself into engagements that she could otherwise graciously decline. Without suspicion, no less. Oh, my ex declined to attend our wedding, dear? Sounds par for the course. Side note: whose idea was it to invite the ex in the first place?
Good news is that Mindy decides to bring Peter to the wedding, so there is a MUCH greater chance that the self-named Mr. Wedding will make a mess of things. And he does so masterfully. Peter gets freaky with the bride who is a recovering sex addict, but in a twist everyone saw coming, Josh is somewhat relieved to have an out. Phew! And here I was worried that these two crazy kids would hook up at the exact moment that Danny realizes his true feelings for Mindy. Well, actually, that is still a frightening possibility…
Danny
A
"Look he's got the Castellano curse. He's got a perfect face."

"No Morgan, a straight guy won Mr. Ft. Lauderdale."
But it turns out that the Miami Vice soundtrack Richie gives Danny is really a gift from their deadbeat dad. The two have a tiff and Jeremy has to run after Richie to convince him to make things right with Danny. It works, huzzah! All that running was for something after all!
Also, can we quickly talk about Jeremy, you guys? He doesn’t get enough to do to be graded this week, but he kills it with the one-liners:
"I know Florida from the movies - are you a cocaine salesman or a pet detective?"
"Oh no, we're not jogging are we?"
I digress… It’s nice that we get a little back story with Danny this week -- it's strangely sentimental. No complaints here, I enjoyed his interactions with his bro. They felt nuanced and genuine. Even if the absentee father story is a bit tired, I didn't hate watching it this time around.

Mindy: "But anyone can be professionally styled to look good in a picture. I've done it like ten times at the mall."

All there is really left to say about Danny's storyline is to acknowledge how friggin' cute he was this entire episode. Or was that just me?
Best Adam Pally Line of the Week:
Peter: "Can I get vulneys with you for a second?"
Extra Credit
- Mindy: "Ok, I'm way too young to understand your Graduate reference."
- Danny: "Don't let him near your marrow!"
- Peter needs to work on his standup.
- Yes, Max Minghella as Danny's brother. For a Brit, he does a pretty decent Jersey accent.
- Mindy stole all the meatballs.
Demerits
- Josh: "You look really nice - that dress makes you look more proportional than you really are."
